Summer highlight: Almabtrieb

In summer season the farmers are extremely busy. But in september, when the harvest has been brought in, the cows come back to the farms. The safe homecoming is celebrated yearly with the so called "Almabtrieb". The animals get trimmed for this special day and walk by in all colours. It's a huge festival in the whole region happening from the middle until late september, usually with a nice barbecue. Hotel Elisabeth brings its cows of the Scherrhof farm back home around the 25th each year.

Winter highlight: Hahnenkamm race

The Hahnenkamm race is one of the most spectacular ski races in the ski world cup. With 85% downward slope it's one of the most dangerous downhill races too. Worldwide tv channels boardcast this fascinating race. But nothing comes to watching it live and feeling the tention of the racers and the amazing atmosphere of the people.
