Elisabeth Almfest

The highlight at the beginning of the autumn season is undoubtedly the farmers' drive home, when the cattle are driven from the alpine pastures back to the meadows in the valley. To show that the alpine summer has passed without misfortune, the cows and calves are decorated with colourful flower arrangements early in the morning. 
Once back in the valley, a joyful celebration with music, delicious food and lots of tradition awaits the farmers.
