Your hike begins directly at the valley station of the Gaisberg lift, not far from your Holiday Hotel Elisabeth in Kirchberg. At first, you comfortably float by cable car up the mountain and then you walk steeply up to the Bärstättalm via the Kaiserblickweg. You Gipfelkreuz (1,767m) is reached via a mountain pasture path. Once you've crossed the Gaisbergjoch, a brief, but steep descent via the Nagillersteig follows. This goes past the Harlassanger Chapel, then back to the Bärstättalm on level paths. On the last leg, you can either choose between the Gaisberg lift or descend on foot via the Obergaisberg alpine guest house back to Kirchberg.
