At the Hotel Elisabeth, cyclists are perfectly taken care of: we offer you free mountain bikes to rent, including helmet, whenever and for as long as you like. You can also rent out e-bikes from us in the hotel, on request. Those travelling with their own bike or mountain bike can park this in the in-house bike cellar. Want to use your holiday to acquire a few skills in mountain biking or downhill biking? We will be happy to provide you with a spot in a cycling technique training session.
Those who prefer to set off in a group rather than on their own can take part in one of the guided bike tours.
Mountain biking and e-mountain biking in Kitzbühel
Whether you are counting the altitude metres or want to take your children on a tour, you will find a wide range of options for exploring the mountain of two wheels around Kirchberg and Kitzbühel.
The latest trend: e-mountain biking. With the modern bikes with electric motors, those less athletic can also enjoy conquering beautiful mountains on two wheels. E-fullies, or e-mountain bikes with full suspension are best suited for the terrain. Of course, you do have to pedal yourself with e-bikes and e-mountain bikes but as soon as you start to pedal, the motor helps. Try it out and enjoy keeping up the pace easily with "real" mountain bikes thanks to the motor performance.
You are welcome to also rent out an e-bike tailored to your needs directly in the Hotel Elisabeth. For further information, please enquire with our reservations team in advance.
Mountainbiking and E-Mountainbiking in Kitzbühel
If you are up for altitude records or if you wanna take your kids on a bike tour - you can find many biking possibilities around Kirchberg and Kitzbühel.
The latest trend is called: E-Mountainbiking. The modern bikes and their electric motor supports less athletic bikers and they can still enjoy and explore the wonderful mountains on 2 wheels. For some off roading you better use the e-fullys or e-mountainbikes which are equipped with full suspensions. Obviously you still need to pedal on E-Bikes and E-Mountainbikes but as soon as you start the motor kicks in. Give it a try and have fun to keep up with the “real” mountain bikers thanks to some “engine support”.
At Hotel Elisabeth you can rent the tailor-fitted e-bikes for each driving route. For more information just let us know in advance and we provide more details to you.

Excellent downhill trails around Kirchberg
On the Gaisberg, directly opposite your wellness hotel in Kirchberg, you will find the downhill Lisi Osl trial, named after the world-ranking Kirchberg native. The Gaisberg lift will bring you and your bike to the trail's starting point for the one-off price of €13 for as many trips as you like. Then you go back into the valley on the 2,260 metre-long route. Steep passes, alternating grounds and sharp curves require strength, reactivity and endurance. In the meantime, you can recover from the adrenaline rush and prepare for the next descent on the sun terrace of the Gaisbergstüberl.
Alternatively to the Lisi Osl trail, you can also choose the Gaisberg trail, which has everything that freeriders and downhillers love with tight turns, high levels and speed jumps.
But other downhills in the nearby area await you: on the Fleckalm trail in Kirchberg, you can race down the longest single trail in Tyrol, which has a speed rush with 7.7km and 1,100 metres of altitude.
